From Artvin to Istanbul
Coming to Istanbul after middle school was a shift from the tempo of a mountain village to the tempo of a great city. What was learned in Çifteköprü — a kept word, the visible return of labour, respect for land — was translated into a new language: project, site, contract, delivery.
For Mustafa Egemen Şener, Istanbul is not only a city lived in; it is his business and decision base. Family life is rooted here with his wife Elif and three children. As the city grew, the work grew — but the root stayed the same.
1990s: Construction and real estate
The first mature period of the career took shape in the 1990s with Istanbul-centred construction and real-estate work. Site discipline, cost control, delivery schedules and asset management — that was the language of those years. Measurable results over quick visibility; sustainable building over speculation.
Habits formed then became the spine of later years: owning a job from start to finish, standing by the promised date, the same seriousness on site and at the table.
2000s: Urban renewal and infrastructure
In the 2000s the line strengthened. Urban renewal and infrastructure project development formed the spine of a Türkiye-based portfolio. Renewing old fabric, safer buildings, transport and quality of life — the scope moved from “building a block” to city scale.
Istanbul’s transforming districts became a school where site language and finance language were spoken together. As projects grew, so did risk management, partnership structures and long-term return discipline — preparing the ground for international steps.
Two shores of the Bosphorus, one base
As a city joining two continents, Istanbul gave the same character to business life: bridging east and west, site and table, local and international. The two shores of the Bosphorus are the geography of daily life and of decisions.

After 2010: International investment

Along the Atlantic line from Montevideo to Recife, dry-dock operations, quays and regional capacity are the overseas extension of the discipline built in Istanbul.
