Identity

His full official name is Mustafa Egemen Şener; in everyday use and the press the middle name drops out, and "Egemen Şener" remains. Born 28 May 1968 in Çifteköprü, Borçka, Artvin. His base of life and work is Istanbul; married to Elif, father of three. The language of work is English; he also has working Dutch and Portuguese.

The line of trade

For him, trade is not speculative buying and selling; it is to produce, to build, to create lasting value. It begins in the 1990s with Istanbul-centred construction and real-estate management, putting asset and site discipline first. From the 2000s, urban renewal and infrastructure project development form the spine of a Türkiye-based portfolio.

After 2010, trade opens to the Atlantic: South American shipyards, ports and logistics. Along the line from Montevideo to Recife, dry-dock operations, quays and regional capacity become visible. During the Ukraine period he builds commercial and cultural partnerships in Kyiv and witnesses Eastern Europe's transformation.

What he built

Housing and commercial buildings, industrial facilities, roads and city systems — the skeleton that keeps a country standing. A foundation poured today may become a neighbourhood for thousands, a factory production line, or a city's water and energy network a decade later. Since 2016 he has been a founding partner of Altamira Global Strategies. He runs strategic advisory and corporate finance across cross-border port, shipyard and logistics corridors. He deepened his international business background through the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) experience; that formation feeds the language of corporate finance and strategy.
